Welcome to Creating Excellence

Welcome to Creating Excellence

Welcome to our new look web site, which we hope you will find easier to use and more focussed on the needs of all those interested in sustainable place making, including the preparation and delivery of neighbourhood plans.

As you can see we have simplified the options available on the front page to reflect our continued focus on PLACES and COMMUNITIES.

All the latest information relating to EMPOWERMENT and FUNDING can now be found in the COMMUNITIES section. Everything relating to DESIGN and the built environment, including information about our Design Review Panel, Design Training and our Design Enabling service, can now be found in the PLACES section .

All the information previously available in the other sections (NETWORKING, EVIDENCE and LEARNING) can now be found in the new ARCHIVE section of the site or by using the search facility.

We hope you like these changes and that they help you get to the information you need more easily. This update reflects our continued commitment to supporting local communities across the south west of England as they strive to improve their neighbourhoods.

Creating Excellence is a not for profit company dedicated to providing great places for people to live and work in by offering practical assistance in support of good design and effective community engagement. We combine the experience of communities, practitioners and senior policy makers with up to date research, to provide a service that is tailored to the needs of our clients, be they communities, developers or local authorities.
