Constructing Excellence South West (CESW)are holding a one day symposium - " Construction Ethics" in Bristol on 30 June 2008.
This one day event will explore the relevance and scope of ethics within the construction sphere:
- Just Wall theory
- Ethical decision making frameworks and construction
- What areas of construction activity are covered?
- Case studies
- Human rights and discrimination law
- Construction-specific examples of ethical issues
- Corporate ethics policy
Contributors are:
Jonathan de Souza, Director of Regions and Demonstrations, Constructing Excellence in the Built Environment.
James Cronin, International Human Rights Lawyer.
Peter Fewings, UWE Senior Lecturer in Construction and Civil Engineering.
The day will close with a discussion and review of the subject chaired by Tom Harper, Director of CESW.
