The cdfa represents Community Development Finance InstitutionsCDFIs are independent organisations which provide loans and support to businesses and individuals. They help people who have had trouble getting finance from the usual sources such as banks and building societies. They are helping to create opportunity and prosperity in disadvantaged communities. As the trade association for CDFIs, the cdfa's mission is to grow, support and strengthen the sector.
