The South West Funders' Forum held an open meeting, near Taunton on 17 January 2007, for all those who fund, invest in and provide financial resources for Third Sector organisations in the region. Attendees from the public, private and social enterprise sectors heard speakers from Government Office for the South West, Capacitybuilders and ACEVO and discussed current issues.

Over 50 Funding Advisers, and others, interested in advice on funding and capacity building given free at the point of delivery to voluntary and community organisations in the region, met near Taunton on 20 June. They discussed new research and the way forward for regional funding advice networks.
