The purpose of the tutorial is to:
- Provide a brief and informative introduction to the Creating Excellence organisation and website
- Highlight the main components of the website and the resources that it provides for those involved in regeneration
- Illustrate how the website can be used to research and develop a successful regeneration project
Layout of the tutorial:
- The tutorial is illustrated by a community led regeneration project in which some disused land is transformed from wasteground into a valuable resource for local youths and children
- The tutorial steps through the project from the initial idea stage to its successful implementation
- At each stage the tutorial identifies the way in which the Creating Excellence website and the organisation can provide advice, guidance and support on regeneration issues
Note about the tutorial:
The tutorial does not use live pages from the Creating Excellence website. It uses a set of specially prepared pages that ensure you do not exit the tutorial accidentally by clicking a weblink.
