The BIG SOCIETY free conference will take place in Taunton on 4 November, organised by Take Part Champions Exeter CVS and the Regional Empowerment Partnership, Empowering Communities. FULLY BOOKED!!
The conference will bring together local government senior officers, elected members and public service providers with people and practitioners active in their communities.
Confirmed key speakers:
- Nick Hurd MP, Minister for Civil Society
- Toby Blume, Urban Forum
- Barry Maginn, Localis
- Jane Scott, Leader of Wiltshire Council
Local people and practitioners from across the South West will present their experiences of community involvement, to illustrate best practice and identify actions and activities necessary to empower people to participate in their communities.
A £25 administration fee will be charged for those people who book and do not turn up.
