The South West Housing Body has launched the South West Regional Housing Strategy 2005-16. A draft Strategy was issued in February 2005 and consultation events were held around the region.
250 delegates had the opportunity to discuss the draft and its direction of travel. Sixty written responses were also received.The revised South West Regional Housing Strategy takes the consultation feedback into account. It has the support of the partners on the South West Housing Body Steering Group to be published and submitted to the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister, and to be the basis for joint working on the Delivery Plan.
