Funding: Arriving, Surviving and Thriving - Funding the Voluntary Sector

The South West Funders' Forum and George (the South West Funding Advisers' Forum) invite you to attend their joint conference on 6 July 2007.  If you engage with the voluntary and community sector, whether as a funder or commissioner of services, a funding adviser, a development worker, or work in any capacity to support voluntary and community groups, this day is for you.

The theme of the day is the growth of organisations from small grants and small beginnings to sustainability, with news of an evaluation of a major small grants programme, and case studies of organisations that have made the whole journey from small project to social enterprise.

And what don't we know about funding voluntary groups in the South West?  A new survey for the Funders' Forum of almost 150 documents and interviews with funders has identified 19 different research needs.  Help us decide on the day what is the next thing we need to find out, and read the full report

See more information about the conference, to be held at Creech St Michael Village Hall, and a booking form. We look forward to seeing you there on 6 July.
