Funding: Big Lottery £10 million award to library authorities

Big Lottery makes awards of more than £10 million to 7 library authorities in the region.

A massive £10.7 million has been awarded to seven communities across the South West through the Big Lottery Fund's Community Libraries programme.

The good cause cash will provide the means to build, extend or refurbish libraries in Bristol, South Gloucestershire, Cornwall, Torbay, North Somerset, Bournemouth and Poole; creating more space for a range of local activities and learning.
