Creating Excellence is looking to expand its Design programme to provide a Design Enabling Service for the South West.
The South West Regional Development Agency has commissioned Creating Excellence to establish this exciting new service building on activity already happening across the region.
We are looking for Panel Members to assist with Design Enabling and for a Panel Co-ordinator to act as the first point of contact for the service. We are looking to recruit a range of expertise to assist in the creation of well-designed, sustainable places in strategically important urban centres as identified in The Way Ahead initiative, helping to secure high-quality outcomes within the emerging Regional Spatial Strategy.
Panel Members (£450 day rate + expenses)
Applicants from all built environment/development disciplines will be welcomed from community engagement to development economics and including the major design professions. Early work will concentrate on urban design and master-planning but key individual projects will also receive support.
Members will understand the whole development process, will be able to quickly grasp the strategic context in which advice is offered, and be excellent communicators.
