The Lloyds TSB Foundation for England & Wales seeks 2 Grant Managers:

1 x full-time - South East London, Kent, Surrey and Sussex. £3,450 London Allowance where applicable

1 x part-time (3 days) - Bristol, Bath, Dorset, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire. Salary, car allowance & benefits pro rata, per annum.

Salary range: £29,875 - £31,534 + car allowance & benefits

Playing a significant role in our grant making team, you will be responsible for the delivery of our grant making programmes in your geographic area. You will use your local expertise to proactively identify prospective applicants, guiding and supporting them to creatively expand their ideas into full applications, and assess grant submissions according to the relevant quality standards, as well as carrying out mid and post-grant monitoring visits. Acting as an ambassador for the organisation, you will develop a network of contacts in the grant making sector and the local community and deliver regular presentations and funding events in order to promote the excellent work of the Foundation and manage demand in your geographic area.

A real self-starter, with a thorough knowledge of your area, you will be passionate about community development and have the ability to analyse information quickly and accurately. You will demonstrate sound judgment, strong report writing and budgetary control skills, and have excellent knowledge of the local voluntary and community sector. Grant making experience is essential.

You will be expected to live in the geographic area that you are applying to work in. Based at home, you will be out interfacing directly with charities for the majority of your time, and will be expected to travel to the London Hub office monthly.
