Previous News: Adult Learners' Week

Now supported by the European Social Fund, Adult Learners Week is the UK's largest annual festival and celebration of adult learning.

Adult Learners Week logo The Adult Learners' Week event takes place from 21 to 27 May in 2005 and during the Week hundreds of activities will be taking place to encourage adults to return to learning. A major part of the Week are the awards. There are awards for individual learners, groups of learners and families that learn together and who are studying on a course supported by the ESF.

Logo of the National Institute of Adult Continuing Education There will also be an award made to a creative and innovative project or programme which is funded by the ESF. Prizes range from £200 to £1,500 in the form of learning vouchers. Closing date for the awards is 21 January 2005.
