The conference on Local Area Agreements was very well attended with over 120 people from local authorities, the voluntary and community sector, and other public bodies represented by delegates from the health sector, police, and learning skills councils. The presentations were informative and inspirational, aiming to show the reality of how local area agreements worked in practice, and are now available on the Creating Excellence website. South West Regional Housing Strategy - Consultation on Draft | |

The draft South West Regional Housing Strategy has just been produced by the south west housing body. The strategy aims to improve the balance of housing markets, achieve good quality homes, and support sustainable communities. It forms part of the Government's national strategy as outlined in, People, Places and Prosperity and homes for all.
This is now out for formal consultation until 26 April.
